As President and owner of R.M. Associates, I have worked in the construction field since 1978. Starting out as a carpenter’s helper and advancing to a project manager on many residential and commercial projects. I realized very early in my career that this was a lifelong path.

R.M. Associates of NJ, Inc. was founded in 1984 as primarily a carpentry framing contractor working throughout New Jersey. Growing from a small crew of 4 we now employ between 10 to 15 full time employees, a full time estimator and a full time office manager. By 1989, we had built a solid reputation as a quality and conscientious framing contractor, well respected in our field. We have framed well over 500 homes ranging in size from 25,000 sq.ft.to as small as 1600 sq.ft. working for several well respected New Jersey home builders as well as numerous private custom homes.

In 1990 we started to design and build custom homes from start to finish. We currently have built over 200 custom homes throughout New Jersey. As well as custom homes, we have completed numerous remodeling, renovation and residential additions. By 1995, we had expanded into commercial projects as well, being a carpentry subcontractor to a full service general contractor. Commercial projects have ranged from new facilities, to retrofit of buildings, to tenant fit-out work,multi- story office buildings, to self storage facilities.

R.M. Associates takes great pride in the quality of the work we do, from start to finish on every project. Generally, all carpentry work is completed by our own employees. Our crews are comprised of experienced carpenters, with several being with us since our start in the early 1980’s. From our project managers to each crew member, we strive to be extremely competent, efficient, neat, and courteous.

Our detailed project management system allows us to plan and schedule your project,track the progress of work and most importantly communicate all of this to you. And once your project begins, the work will proceed daily until everything is completed.

We strive to foster lifelong relationships and this is a good testament to the fact that many of our customers are repetitive for various projects with a large majority of new projects coming through referrals.
